  • Am-ghata: Here Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu planted a mango seed which immediately developed into a tree bearing ripe fruits.
  • Suvarna Vihar: Site of the capital city of King Suvarna Sena, who later appeared as Buddhimanta Khan, an associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
  • Narsimhapalli: Sri Narasimhadeva rested here after killing Hiranyakasipu. 
  • Devapalli: Sri Narasimhadeva was worshiped by the devas here. 
  • Mandakini Lake: In this lake, Sri Narasimhadeva washed his nails which were tainted by Hiranyakasipu’s blood.
  • Alakananda River. 
  • Harihara-ksetra: Half Visnu, half Siva deity will be seen here.

  • Jahnu Muni Ashram: This is the place where the sage had darsana of Lord Gauranga.

Modadrumadvipa (Dasyam)

This island represents dasyam, becoming a servant.
